Rolling Shutter and Pedestrian Door in Sohar

PROJECT DETAILS

Made-to-measure work in Sohar

The garage and pedestrian openings were treated as one façade composition rather than two unrelated products.

The matching white finish and aligned horizontal lines complement the existing villa exterior while keeping vehicle and pedestrian access separate.

A dedicated pedestrian door reduces the need to open the larger shutter for every short visit. The garage opening remains reserved for vehicles, while both entrances stay clearly accessible from the paved approach to the villa.

White aluminium works with the light stonework and keeps the new work visually quiet against the detailed façade. The repeated horizontal pattern ties the smaller door to the shutter and gives the completed frontage a balanced appearance.

FROM SURVEY TO TESTING

How a rolling shutter project is prepared

Before production, the team checks the clear opening, available space for the side guides and shutter box, the electrical point and the way the garage will be used. These details help determine the suitable slat profile, motor capacity, controls and any reinforcement required for the site.

The shutter is then made to the confirmed dimensions. During installation, the guides are aligned, operating limits are set and the complete door is tested through repeated opening and closing cycles. The customer receives one coordinated system rather than unrelated parts selected separately.

  • Site measurement before fabrication
  • Components selected for opening size and use
  • Movement and limits tested after installation
